 What's New for the 2024 MAZDA CX-5?

The popular Mazda CX-5 has been a strong contender for compact crossover SUV shoppers in the Chicago area for years, and you may be pleased to learn that the appealing style, abilities, and features of the 2023 Mazda CX-5 carry up to the 2024 model year without change. The engaging façade continues to impress with its sleekly designed side panels and aerodynamic profile. The sides have slightly pronounced rear fenders and crisp accentuation on the lower perimeter. The wide, black grille on the nose is directly linked to the slender, piercing LED headlights. Exterior features that are available or standard for the 2024 Mazda CX-5 are 17-inch wheels or larger, tinted privacy glass at the rear, a power sunroof, daytime running lamps, adaptive headlights, a power liftgate, power-folding side mirrors, and a few others.

Inside, the engaging cabin style and features are unchanged for the 2024 Mazda CX-5. The front of the cabin features a molded, ledge-style dashboard with a landscape-mounted, floating display screen. The dashboard swells over the driver's gauges. The same two powertrains available for the 2023 Mazda CX-5 are also offered in the 2024 model year. These include a 187-horsepower, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine and a 227-horsepower turbo variant. Both engines come with standard all-wheel drive and an automatic transmission. Some trims also come with an off-road drive mode, a sport drive mode, and paddle shifters on the steering wheel.
