What's New for the 2024 MAZDA CX-90?
In 2024, Mazda introduces the stunning Mazda CX-90 to its crossover SUV lineup. This three-row model is a replacement for the discontinued Mazda CX-9. With its precise handling and high-end features, this flagship SUV will undoubtedly impress you over the miles. Compared to the Mazda CX-9, the Mazda CX-90's wheelbase is more than seven inches longer. The sophisticated design shows off a tall profile with modestly angled surfaces. The nose features a chrome-accented grille that links to the compact LED headlights. The slender, powerful air intake ports flank the grille and lower fascia. Across the sides, you will find pinstripe accents rounding over the wheel wheels and running over the bottom of the door panels. A chrome-accented air vent near the front fender completes the look. Depending on which of the five trim levels you pick out, your 2024 Mazda CX-90 could have 19-inch alloy wheels or larger, a hands-free power liftgate, roof rails, keyless entry, a panoramic sunroof and power-folding and heated side mirrors with an auto-dimming function.
Depending on the 2024 Mazda CX-90's trim level and seating configuration that you prefer, your new SUV could accommodate either seven or eight passengers. The base trim level has synthetic leather upholstery, and the other four trim levels have standard leather upholstery. The entry-level features also include an eight-speaker sound system, a 10.25-inch touch display screen, a tri-zone climate control system, and a keyless ignition. At higher trim levels, the Mazda CX-90 could also be outfitted with heated front and middle-row seats, second-row sunshades, a wireless charging station, wireless smartphone app connections, a head-up display, second-row captain's chairs, a Bose sound system, an integrated navigation system, driver's memory functions, and a digital instrument panel.
Three engine options are available, including a 3.3-liter turbo, V6, 280-horsepower option, and a 340-horsepower, upgraded V6 engine. A four-cylinder, 2.5-liter plug-in hybrid engine is also offered, producing 323 horsepower. All engine systems feature all-wheel drive and an auto eight-speed transmission. Safety technologies include lane-keeping assistance, frontal collision mitigation, a driver attention monitor, adaptive cruise control, and others.
