 What's New for the 2025 MAZDA CX-5 2.5 S PREMIUM PLUS?

The gorgeous 2025 Mazda CX-5 is a compact crossover SUV with endless appeal. It delivers true value coupled with solid engineering and modern features. In 2025, the Mazda CX-5 is available with two powertrains, referred to as the 2.5 S and the 2.5 Turbo. In addition, there are five trim levels available for the 2.5 S and three trims for the 2.5 Turbo. The top trim level available for the 2.5 S is the Premium Plus.

The Mazda CX-5 2.5 S draws 187 horsepower from a non-turbo, four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine. This engine comes with a six-speed automatic transmission. In addition, all-wheel drive is standard for all of the 2025 trim levels.

The mid-generation Mazda CX-5 has a contemporary, effortless look with an arched cabin and high-rise side panels. The sides are also styled with smooth contouring that angles downward as it fades to the rear. Minor molding lines the Mazda CX-5's lower perimeter. The hood has a swooping quality with deep definition that angles inward as it approaches the grille. The headlights sport a series of L-shaped LED elements and connect to the grille. Exterior features offered on the Premium Plus trim include 19-inch gray wheels, a windshield de-icer, power-folding and heated side mirrors, adaptive headlights, and a power liftgate.

The Mazda CX-5 2.5 S Premium Plus is outfitted with all of the features available in the lower trim levels, and it adds paddle shifters, heated seats for both rows, a heated steering wheel, wireless smartphone integration, a wireless device charger, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera and a head-up display. Features available in this and lower trim levels include driver's memory settings, leather upholstery, a sunroof, a dual-zone climate control system, adaptive cruise control, a 10.25-inch infotainment system display screen, Mazda Connected Services, forward collision mitigation, a blind-spot warning, and several other features.
