 What's New for the 2025 MAZDA CX-50 Hybrid?

The 2025 Mazda CX-50 Hybrid is a stunning compact crossover SUV that combines exceptional engineering with a balanced mix of features across its trim levels. It is a new addition to the Mazda CX-50 family. Three of the Mazda CX-50's 10 trim levels are hybrid options: the Hybrid Preferred, the Hybrid Premium, and the Hybrid Premium Plus.

The Mazda CX-50 Hybrid is engineered with a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter gas engine that links to three electric motors. The combined output is 227 horsepower. All of the hybrid trim levels for the 2025 model year feature a continuously variable auto transmission and an all-wheel drivetrain.

In 2025, the Mazda CX-50 Hybrid shows off the same style as the 2024 Mazda CX-50. The look is decidedly modern and athletic, with a forward-leaning stance, a tall, sloped roof, and a tapered, well-defined hood. The smooth sides swell over the rear fenders, and dark molding runs from front to rear to bolster functionality on the road. The 19-inch wheels have an innovative, V-spoke design. Across the front of the Mazda CX-50 Hybrid, the bumper rounds outward toward prominent, vertical air inlets. The small LED headlights are paired with a wide grille featuring a tight mesh pattern.

The Mazda CX-50 Hybrid Preferred is outfitted with a power liftgate, heated side mirrors, roof rails, a powered driver's seat, heated front seats, a 10.25-inch infotainment display screen, a digital instrument panel, wireless smartphone app connections, an eight-speaker audio system, forward collision mitigation, adaptive cruise control, lane departure mitigation, and a blind-spot warning. In addition to these features, the higher hybrid trim levels come with a wireless smartphone charger, a Bose sound system with 12 speakers, an auto-dimming rear mirror, a panoramic sunroof, a driver's memory settings, a head-up display, and several additional features.
