 What's New for the 2025 MAZDA3 HATCHBACK?

The Mazda3 is recognized on the road for its spunky, sleek design, and it impresses its drivers with its exciting performance and modern features. In 2025, the Mazda3 will continue to be available in both sedan and hatchback body designs. The Mazda3 Hatchback is available for the first time with the entry-level 2.5 S trim level. There are also a few updates to the available features that elevate its appeal.

The Mazda3 Hatchback 2.5 S is loaded with a four-cylinder, 2.5-liter engine. It puts out 191 horsepower with 186 pound-feet of torque. This engine also features a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive. However, four sub-trims are offered for the Mazda3 Hatchback 2.5 S, some of which have standard all-wheel drive and a six-speed manual transmission. The Mazda3 Hatchback 2.5 Turbo trim level is also available. It features a 227-horsepower, 2.5-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine with standard all-wheel drive. If you opt for the Premium Plus sub-trim, your Mazda3 Hatchback will also have paddle shifters on the steering wheel.

The Mazda3 Hatchback's facade is unchanged. Its dramatically sleek profile is enhanced by premium, smooth side contouring. The sleek look continues with strongly slanted LED headlights and deep, aerodynamic inlets across the bumper. The exterior features that are standard or available are up to 18-inch wheels and a sunroof.

The Mazda3 Hatchback is now available with a built-in Alexa voice assistant and over-the-air updates for the navigation system. The new Mazda3 Hatchback 2.5 S trim level comes with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, cloth seats, a six-speaker sound system, an 8.8-inch central display screen, a drowsy driver monitor, lane keeping, lane departure mitigation, forward collision auto braking, and others. Additional options and standard features available for the Mazda3 Hatchback include a surround-view camera, a heated steering wheel, lane centering, wireless smartphone connectivity, a wireless charging pad, a larger central display screen, leather upholstery, a head-up display, a Bose sound system, and additional features.
