The 2025 Mazda CX-5 2.5 S trim levels are equipped with a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine that puts out 187 horsepower. The Mazda CX-5 2.5 Turbo has a 2.5-liter turbo, four-cylinder engine that produces 256 horsepower. All Mazda CX-5 trims come with standard all-wheel drive and a six-speed auto transmission. For the Mazda CX-70, the 3.3 Turbo trim level comes with an inline-six, 3.3-liter turbo engine that generates 280 horsepower. The 3.3 Turbo S trim level has a high-output version of this engine that produces 340 horsepower. In addition, a 323-horsepower, 2.5-liter, four-cylinder, plug-in hybrid engine is available. Its all-electric range is 26 miles.
Appearance
The Mazda CX-5 is easy on the eyes from every angle with its flowing, tall profile and decadently sculpted sides. The defined hood slopes toward a wide, U-shaped grille. Flanking the grille, the narrow headlamps add a sporty touch. The Mazda CX-70, on the other hand, is a taller, longer model with modest curves over the hood and roof. The sides are smooth, and the side air vent and body molding add character. At the front, the U-shaped grille sinks deeply, and LED bars link the grille to the small LED headlights. Below the headlights, the irregularly shaped air inlets are mounted at an angle.
