Performance
The 2025 Mazda CX-90 offers two powertrain options. There's the 3.3 Turbo trim level features a six-cylinder, turbo 3.3-liter engine that produces 280 horsepower. The 3.3 Turbo S is outfitted with a high-performance version of this engine, which produces 340 horsepower. Both engines come with standard all-wheel drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Mazda CX-90 PHEV mates an electric motor with this six-cylinder engine. It offers a 26-mile all-electric range and 323 horsepower.
Appearance
The Mazda CX-90 and Mazda CX-90 PHEV are almost identical in their styling. This model offers large dimensions, providing ample cargo and passenger space in the cabin. While this is a large vehicle, it has a sporty look with a raked rear, a side air vent, and stunningly contoured sides. Chrome trim adorns these SUVs, extending across the front bumper and underscoring the grille. The small headlights are captivating with an L-shaped LED element. Both models come with a sunroof, roof rails, a power liftgate, and 19-inch alloy wheels.
Features
The Mazda CX-90 PHEV is available with the Preferred, Premium, and Premium Plus trim levels. The Mazda CX-90 has these same trim levels as well as a few additional options. As a result, these models share many of the same features. The shared features include quilted leather upholstery, second-row captain's chairs, second-row sunshades, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless phone charger, USB ports, heated front seats, a 12.3-inch infotainment center screen, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, a blind-spot warning, a driver attention monitor, safe exit assist, a tri-zone climate control system, keyless entry, keyless start and others.
