These engines are both paired with all-wheel drive and a six-speed auto transmission.

Overall, the Mazda CX-5 has a refreshing, sleek design with tapered definition rolling down the otherwise smooth hood and a tall, rounded roof. Deep contouring is paired with an angled crease on the sides, and the haunches are slightly molded. The wide grille on the Mazda CX-5 sits above a thin bumper, accented by metallic trim on its flanks. The headlights have a radiating quality with a pair of side-by-side LED elements.
